This module is a most for any mobile phone repair technician or engineer as it guide you through the understanding of the circuitry of the mobile phone schematic diagrams. Schematic diagrams which are made of symbols and connection of electronic components which serve as a guide on how the circuits function can only be well understood by the help of basic electronics.
At the beginning of the module we introduce some elementary principles of electrical theory specifically related to the study of electronics.
The heart of this module is the understanding of the concept of electronics and electronics components. It helps understand one of the most important relationships in electrical and electronic engineering called the Ohm’s Law which is a relationship between the three basic electrical properties of resistance, voltage and current. This module also covers the key topics of electronics such as: Power and Energy, Series and Parallel circuits, Voltage and Current (two critical parameters of electrical circuits), voltage and current division, identifying electronics components and circuit symbols which are vital to read schematic diagrams. The main focus on this module as well is to practically explain the main semiconductors (through-hole and SMD) used in electronics such as: Resistors, Capacitors, Diodes, inductors, transistors, etc …
